Individual Counselling
Life can feel like a lot sometimes. When everything starts to pile up, it’s easy to lose sight of what you need or how to move forward. Individual counselling offers a safe, supportive space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and start creating meaningful change.
In our work together, we’ll explore what’s been keeping you stuck, look at how your past experiences might be shaping your present, and find practical ways to help you cope and grow. I draw on years of experience and a mix of evidence-based approaches to support your unique goals and needs.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, life transitions, or relationship challenges, counselling can help you build awareness, strengthen your sense of self, and find more balance and fulfilment in your day-to-day life.
Adolescent Counselling
The teen years can be exciting, confusing, and everything in between. Adolescence is a time of huge growth and change — a stage filled with possibility but also plenty of pressure. Many teens struggle to manage shifting emotions, social expectations, and questions about identity and belonging. Counselling provides a supportive space where they can talk openly, feel heard, and start to make sense of what they’re experiencing.
When I work with teens, my first goal is to build trust and really understand their world. Together, we explore what’s been causing stress or conflict, look at patterns that might be getting in the way, and find practical ways to cope, communicate, and build confidence. Each session is tailored to the individual — meeting them where they’re at and helping them develop skills that support emotional well-being and stronger connections with others.
Counselling can help adolescents feel more grounded, resilient, and self-assured as they navigate life’s ups and downs and discover who they are becoming.
Couples/Relationship Counselling
Relationships are one of the most meaningful parts of our lives — but they are also hard work. Even the strongest partnerships face challenges, and over time, communication patterns can develop that leave partners feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or stuck in the same arguments. Couples counselling offers a supportive space to slow down, understand what’s really happening between you, and start building healthier ways to connect.
In our sessions, we’ll look at the patterns that show up in moments of calm and conflict alike, helping you both gain insight into how each person’s experiences and emotions shape the relationship. Using evidence-based approaches and years of experience working with couples and families, I’ll help you learn more constructive ways to communicate, listen, and respond to each other.
Together, we’ll focus on strengthening trust, improving communication, and finding new ways to approach conflict with empathy and respect. Whether your relationship feels distant, tense, or simply in need of a reset, counselling can help you reconnect and move forward with a deeper understanding and renewed sense of partnership.
Family Counselling
Every family experiences moments of tension, change, or disconnection. Whether it’s ongoing conflict, a shift in family dynamics, or simply feeling like communication has broken down, it can be hard to find your way back to understanding and closeness. Family therapy offers a supportive space where each person can feel heard and understood — and where the family as a whole can begin to heal, reconnect, and grow together.
Family therapy helps families and couples improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges as a team. Rather than focusing on one person, this approach looks at how family members interact and influence one another. By understanding these patterns, families can find new ways to connect, resolve conflict, and create positive change that benefits everyone.
In our sessions, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface of everyday interactions — how stress, expectations, or past experiences may be shaping the way you relate. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways of communicating, setting boundaries, and supporting one another. My approach draws on evidence-based practices and years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that each session is tailored to your family’s unique needs and goals.
Through this process, families often rediscover empathy, patience, and appreciation for one another’s perspectives. Whether you’re hoping to rebuild trust, navigate a major life change, or simply create a more peaceful home environment, family therapy can help you strengthen your connections and move forward with greater understanding and harmony.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
Accelerate Resolution Therapy (ART) is a gentle and effective approach that helps people find relief from difficult memories, emotions, or experiences that feel “stuck.” Using calming eye movements and guided imagery, ART helps the brain process and release distress without needing to go into all the details of what happened. Many clients notice positive changes in just a few sessions—feeling lighter, calmer, and more at peace with the past. In my practice, I use ART to support healing in a safe, comfortable, and empowering way.
